YOGA 101

Come enjoy a free yoga class. Ideal for introducing new yogis to breathing, meditation, simple asana (posturing), and relaxation techniques.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Calm your mind by stretching your body in slow, relaxing floor postures. In this class we will hold our poses for longer than usual while maintaining integrated alignment of the musculoskeletal body. The simplicity and healing power of Restorative Yoga make it an ideal complement to more dynamic and muscular forms of exercise. This is the perfect class for beginners and people with injuries.

ANUSARA INSPIRED 1

Anusara (a-nu-sar-a), means “flowing with Grace,” “flowing with Nature,” “following your heart.” As stated in the Anusara Website, Anusara yoga is a school of hatha yoga, which unifies a life-affirming Shiva-Shakti Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness with Universal Principles of Alignment. Anusara yoga has become one of the most highly respected schools of hatha yoga with over 1,000 licensed yoga teachers, thousands of teachers in training, and hundreds of thousands of students worldwide. The Anusara yoga community places a strong emphasis on creative freedom and individuality. HOT FLOW

Instill balance and focus, cleanse your system, and deepen flexibility with this Vinyasa-inspired practice in high heat and humidity. We will integrate more breath and flowing movement than traditional hot yoga. This is the perfect blend of Hot and Vinyasa yoga styles. Be prepared to sweat!

VINYASA 101

Develop the fundamentals of a healthy movement-based yoga practice. Fusing breath with flowing movements, youll ingrain the basics of vinyasa yoga into muscle memory. $5.00 minimum donation class. Proceeds support community events, celebrations, and gatherings

VINYASA

Form supportive structure and refine healthy alignment within each of the sun salutations essential postures. Vinyasa, meaning to move with breath, is an graceful practice that will teach you to find stillness in motion and leave you energized from the inside out.

PRANA VINYASA

Follow your breath through this energetic practice that will keep your heart pumping and your body moving. Challenge your ability to flow from posture to posture. A great class for the athletic-minded.

CORE YOGA

Transform your body, making it longer, leaner, and more supple. We’ve developed a series of invigorating postures that focus on the powerhouse muscles of the core. This class tones thighs and glutes, and strengthens the back, arms, and abdominal muscles.

ANUSARA INSPIRED 2

Calling all students and teachers with a regular practice who desire a challenge with each return to the mat. Feel the power of community by working with partners and groups to go even deeper into your practice. Community Flow devotees learn to minimize struggle and increase joy in the poses by applying the Universal Principals of Alignment from Anusara Yoga. This class will develop your capacity to enjoy dynamic movements, deep and therapeutic asana, inversions, arm balances, and philosophical considerations. Lots of fun! Must be comfortable doing Handstand at the wall and Wheel in the middle of the room.
